{"id":973,"date":"2020-02-16T22:53:17","date_gmt":"2020-02-16T22:53:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.redhawkdiscgolf.com\/draganfield\/?page_id=973"},"modified":"2023-01-02T15:25:32","modified_gmt":"2023-01-02T15:25:32","slug":"mulligan","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.redhawkdiscgolf.com\/draganfield\/mulligan\/","title":{"rendered":"Mulligan Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Mulligan Challenge<\/h4>\n<p>Next date: TBD<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An event format inspired by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zrUIrCt029s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Simon Lizotte vlog<\/a>, the objective is to meet or better a target score on each hole using as few mulligans (re-throws) as possible.\u00a0 Different divisions will have different target scores to achieve.<\/p>\n<p>Rules:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 players per group, maximum of 5<\/li>\n<li>Playing through slower groups is allowed<\/li>\n<li>Thrower continues until getting desired result (once new player tees off, previous thrower is done)<\/li>\n<li>Retrieving previously thrown discs = abandoning all throws in the field<\/li>\n<li>Spotters allowed\/encouraged but no self-spotting (no running ahead to assess and returning to re-throw)<\/li>\n<li>Fewest mulligans needed to accomplish goal is the winner<\/li>\n<li>Players may only compete in one division<\/li>\n<li>Mixed groups (multiple divisions in one group) is allowed<\/li>\n<li>CTP can only be marked if the tee shot is used to complete the hole<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scoring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Getting the target score with no mulligans is recorded as a zero (0)<\/li>\n<li>Record only the number of mulligans used for each hole<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tiebreakers (first place ties only):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tiebreaker #1 = most &#8220;perfect&#8221; holes in a round (no mulligans used to achieve target score)<\/li>\n<li>Tiebreaker #2 = most holes using only one mulligan<\/li>\n<li>Tiebreaker #3 = most holes using only two mulligans<\/li>\n<li>If further tiebreakers are needed, continue the pattern&#8230;most holes using only three, most holes using only four, etc until tie is broken<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Past Results:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.redhawkdiscgolf.com\/draganfield\/mulligan\/mulligan-challenge-2022-results\/\">January 1, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.redhawkdiscgolf.com\/draganfield\/mulligan\/mulligan-challenge-1-results\/\">February 16, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mulligan Challenge Next date: TBD &nbsp; An event format inspired by a Simon Lizotte vlog, the objective is to meet or better a target score on each hole using as few mulligans (re-throws) as possible.\u00a0 Different divisions will have different target scores to achieve.
