GreenHorn Disc Golf offers expert individual disc golf instruction by appointment only. Appointments can be made through our contact form.

Also, clinics can be scheduled during the year for interested parties. These will generally be focused on one or two specific areas of the game, and can be tailored to the attendees needs and desires.

Players of all ages and ability levels are encouraged to take advantage of our services. It is our goal to bring out the best in every player’s game.

Prices:

• Individual (one-on-one): $25 for one hour or one round (student’s choice)
• Pairs (two students): $40 for one hour or one round (student’s choice)
• Clinics: $100 for up to 5 people, $25 per person thereafter (price negotiable)

What can you get with an individual lesson?

All individual lessons will be tailored to your exact needs and desires. If you are a new player looking to learn the basics of the game, we can do that. If it is more consistent putting you are after, your lesson will focus primarily on ways to improve your putting stroke. Our instructors will work with you on any and every aspect of your game, offering invaluable tips on both the basics and the finer points of the game.

How will the clinics run?

Each individual clinic focuses on specific aspects of the game and geared in more general terms. For example, one clinic might focus on driving and distance throwing. Another clinic might focus on putting and the short game. A third type of clinic would be centered around tournament rules and etiquette. This third clinic type most likely would run in conjunction with a novice-level tournament in order to put the clinic knowledge to use first-hand. Clinics can also be tailored to the audience’s specific needs and desires. Our instructors are flexible and knowledgeable enough to cover any disc golf subject or skill sufficiently in any situation.

Who will be your instructor(s)?

Our staff instructor is disc golf veteran (and Dragan Field manager) Josh Connell. Josh is one of the top rated professional disc golfers in Maine and has over 18 years of experience playing the game. He has competed in over 300 tournaments, with over 50 tournament wins, all over the East Coast and the Mid-West. Just one lesson with Josh should yield positive results in your game.
