This is a recurring singles league in which players can pick their own times to play.  As long as each player plays in a group with at least two other league participants, they can submit their score for the weekly competition.  To help facilitate participation for players that may not be able to assemble a group on their own in any given week, we will also have three designated days/times for players to meet up with other league players:  Sunday 4pm , Wed 5pm, Friday 9am.  A Facebook group has also been created for participants to join and connect with other players.

Each league will operate in a ten week cycle (8 qualifying weeks + 2 week cumulative final) with one off week between cycles.  Each league week will run from Sunday morning through Saturday evening.  There is no commitment required to participate.  Play one week or play every week, all are welcome.  There will be weekly prizes for the top scores in each division in addition to overall rewards.

Scoring:

If you have an account on the UDisc app (available in the Apple and Google app store), playing the league is as simple as it gets.  Pay your weekly fee, go to the event page on the app to check in, and create a group card.  Once you finish your round, confirm and submit your score.

If you do not have UDisc, fear not.  UDisc is NOT necessary to participate in the league.  Players may submit their round on a paper scorecard as well.  All that is required is listing all players in the group on the card, even those who submitted scores through uDisc, in order to confirm you played in a proper league group.

Divisions (weekly entry fees):

  • Open ($20)
  • Am ($15)
  • Novice ($15)
  • Women ($15)
  • Juniors under 15 ($15)
  • Masters 60+ ($15)
    Other divisions may be added in the future if demand exists

Weekly entry fees can be paid in cash in the pro shop or honor box. Fees can also be paid through Venmo (note player name/UDisc name and division).  Paypal and credit/debit can also be used for fees, but require an additional $1 processing fee. QR Codes for all e-payments options are available at the pro shop (inside and outside).

Entry Fee Breakdown:

  • Greens Fee = $8
  • Weekly Ace Pot = $1
  • Weekly CTP = $1
  • Finals contribution = $2 (Open) / $1 (other divisions)
  • Weekly Payout contribution = $8 (Open) / $4 (other divisions)

Courses:

The course played will vary week to week. Each cycle’s course schedule will be posted in advance, but may be subject to change if conditions warrant. Once a week has begun, the course will not change. The intent is to play Red Dragon and Talon five times each per cycle (4 qualifying rounds + 1 finals round).

Finals:

The last two weeks of each cycle will be a cumulative two round competition. Players must play 5 of 8 weeks to qualify to play the finals.  Top 3 points earners in each division will start the final with a two throw advantage over the rest of field.  Payouts for the final, which will be supplemented by funds collected during the eight qualifying weeks, will be to the top third of the field in each division.

Points System:

Every player gets a point for participating. For every five players beaten, players will receive an additional point.  Top 3 each week earn bonus points in descending value (5 – 3 – 1).  Only a player’s five best weeks will count toward their total.

    • Gannon – 48 — 3 pts (1 + 2 for beating 10+ players) + 5 bonus = 8 pts
    • Ricky – 49 — 3 pts (1 + 2 for beating 10+ players) + 3 bonus = 6 pts
    • Isaac – 50 — 2 pts (1 + 1 for beating 5+ players) + 1 bonus = 3 pts
    • Simon -51 — 2 pts (1 + 1 for beating 5+ players)
    • Eagle – 51 — 2 pts (1 + 1 for beating 5+ players)
    • Paul – 51 — 2 pts (1 + 1 for beating 5+ players)
    • Calvin – 52 — 2 pts (1 + 1 for beating 5+ players)
    • Matt – 53 — 1 pt
    • Ezra – 54 — 1 pt
    • James – 54 — 1 pt
    • Casey – 55 — 1 pt
    • Nikko – 56 — 1 pt

Schedule:

First cycle begins Sunday, March 2, 2025 (Finals = Sunday, April 27 – Saturday, May 10)

Second cycle begins on Sunday, May 18, 2025
